Best Bootliner for Skoda Fabia Estate

Featured Replies

As subject.

Does anyone have a boot liner for their Fabia Estate?

I would like one and would like some ideas of where to go.

Have been looking at www.roofbox.co.uk, there are two there, one is £35 (Autoform) and the other £45 (Carbox)

Says for 2007 and newer, I assume a Skoda Fabia vRS Estate will be the same too.

Cheers

Ordered the autoform one. Will comment when I get it.

I got the Skoda Fabia Estate rubber boot floor mat and I'm very pleased with it.

Good quality and it looks good too.

Want a picture?

I'd love to see one if that is ok! :)

Many thanks for the picture, that looks great.

Hoping my one that I have ordered will be of similar quality.

The main reason I've bought one is because of our dog - I don't want his cage rolling around on the carpet in the boot - and also I don't want his hair dropping everywhere in the boot either!

That is a generic picture, so you have no idea what you're actually getting.

It'll probably do the job, but the example looks cheap.

You could just get a rubber off cut from a roll and do one yourself if price is important and you don't need the anti-spill edges.

Did you scoll down to see various shots showing the good rim round it. It is polyethylene not rubber and will be durable.

Yes, that's why I suggested a peice of rubber if you don't need the anti-spill edge.

If you do I'm sure it'll be fine... be nice to see an actual picture of the product in a Fabia boot though.

Like always it's personal choice.

Thank you for the excellent photo of the Skoda one, it does look good and as I will have late-delivery vouchers to spend, I can try it out when (if ever) I take delivery.

Out of interest, how much was the Skoda one? Could have ordered one of those at the dealer. d'oh/

I would be interested in the price too as we have a hound dog also :)

£45 I paid with delivery for tomorrow :) www.roofbox.co.uk

The Skoda Rubber boot mate is very good and durable, one of the reasons I went for it, hard wearing, my only gripe is it's a bit heavy when you want to just remove it to give it a shake to clear any dirt!

Can't remember exactly, but the same one with the same part number is for sale here at £33.40p, which seems a bargain for the fit and finish of it.

My Range Rover one was the same quality but cost £120 in comparison! :o

I think I paid about £40(ish) at the dealership.

For that kind of price to get a genuine Skoda one it's got to be done.

I paid £42 for similar mat for Superb Twindoor- very solid, good quality, the lip on some of the others can be problematic if heavy weight gets caught on ti and distorts it.

I'm thinking of going for the waterproof one as i like the idea of the foldout lip to prevent the pooch from scratching paintwork when she's scrambling to get out.

Silly question, but does the rubber liner smell at all?

Yeah I didn't consider that, I'll find a solution (picking the little bugger up)

Little Buggar is what breed?

Never noticed any smell at all and I've got the 4 matching fottwell mats too which are the same material and design.

You'd have to have your nose pretty close to one to smell anything.

Thanks mate.

I managed to blag the rubber bootliner and rubber mats when ordering mine,(along with spare wheel, mudflaps and an underseat storage box), if you don't ask you don't get :giggle:

They are good quality too.

He's a terrier cross - bit of a few things, he's a cool dog though.

Just turned 8 :-)
