With current fuel prices, a bus pass

I'm in 2 minds whether to go for a Leon FR tdi, or an Octy VRS tdi next - I'll need something bigger than the Fabia due to planning having kids. Depends what's the best deal at the time I suppose.

I'm wanting an E46 325i + once the fabia's gone. Think they look awesome, they're great to drive and I've wanted one for a good while now!

Leon boot isn't that much bigger than the Fabia to be honest. I was surprised. And there are Octy2 owners who've had Leons previously and swapped because of the boot space issue - especially with buggies and all the kit that goes with it :)

Myself? I'll answer retrospectively - and say Octavia Mk2 ;)

Octavia mk2 for me to tdi one don't know whether to go for saloon or estate?

After 10 years of modified vag ownership, I'm going for something mad and japanese....

^^ E46 M3 if I can afford one, sexy cars, especially in that metallic blue colour, and make a sound like God having an orgasm!

On a budget, Accord 2.2 Type R (none of this Civic Nonsense). Although I do also have a craving for a mk3 Ibiza Cupra.

All the above of course are based on my weekly commute milage reducing; at the moment, only my VRS is capable of returning a consistent weekly average of 50mpg while still remaining 'fun'.

Just sold my Oct vRS TFSi and going for a VW R36.....

I want to enjoy the big V6 drive whilst i can still afford petrol!!! :giggle:

Not got the R36 yet but missing my vRS already in many ways.

Mk1 or Mk2 Leon? I just "downgraded" from a Mk1 Leon to a Mk1 Furby, and I find the boot pretty pathetic in comparison! Doesn't bother me because I don't need the space 99% of the time, I'm just surprised that anyone can say the Leon isn't much bigger...I haven't seen a Mk2 Leon boot in detail, but the car looks a lot bigger than the Mk1 so I'd be surprised if the boot was anywhere near as small as the Furby

Interesting choice, you don't see many of them about; 4 motion saloon I hope?

(Edit: the R36 that is)

Mk2 - compared with the Mk1 I think the Leon boot went down in size when it was released! Can't recall what the Mk1 capacity was, but the Mk2 is 341L. Which is rather paltry compared with the Octy2 hatch's 585L....

Will have to be the estate then, as they don't make a saloon ;)

R36 saloon - yes.

Its a bit tricky downsizing from the Octavia which held all the golf gear no problem.

Now your talking my kind of language! :)

mk1 Focus RS, Mk2 Clio V6 or an EVO

99% sure it'll be the Clio, mostly because it's horrendously impractical, but also cos they're quick and rare

Mmmmmmm Clio V6...... nice!!!!

But could you justify £15k on a clio (although they do look awesome)? If you want impracticality and a rare Renault, look for an original rear engined R5 Turbo; left hand drive only, rear wheel drive, oh, and about 25-30 grand!

R32 or A3 3.2 V6 Quattro :D

What a machine!

R5turbo2a[1].jpg

yeah i think i probably could justify one, because I think they're a 5K better car then the focus and not as chavy/common as an evo. My mate's bro has had one, a focus rs and several evo fq's and he still's gutted he got rid of the clio.

5 turbo - what a beast, couldnt have one as a daily tho!

our lass will be geting mine as im going back to a m3
