How to remove interior mirror?

Featured Replies

Thought I'd ask here first before I break something. Should just pull off shouldn't it?

when i got my tints done the guy that done them said that he couldent do me a sun strip because of the hight risk that the screen will shatter

and i did see it once when we tryed to fit a mirror to a polo and it cracked the screen

I thought you were supposed to spin in quarter of a turn and pull it off.

When I had my windscreen changed the fitter seemed to just pop it on and off?

i dont think its the removing it i think its the refitting but am not sure tbh

You spin a half of rotation and pull...and the mirror came off.

I saw that when I changed my screen at the dealership.

All sorted now thanks. Just needed to hold the mirror stem and twist, comes off easy.

Hi,

Guys from carwash removed my interior mirror from my Octavia mkII but they couldn't attach it back, so they let me do that :)

I tried to attach it back but I'm afraid if I push it too hard and maybe break something (interior mirror or even windscreen). Is there any catch to do that or I just must push it hard?
