I'm gonna wrap my dodgy spoiler in some gloss vinyl wrap because after seeing Sams (Softscoops) grill it seems that the match can be quite close and no sparkle Vs. No lacquer is a no brainer .. And if I get enough I can do the grille as well... And then, if I've enough.. maybe the door handles?

So, yeah, a 1m / 1.2m roll should be plenty for the grille and spoiler, shouldn't it? Assuming the spoiler isn't over a meter wide at it's absolute widest?

I remember measuring a MK4 golf roof and for some reason 44inches rings a bell. I think that was the width and 48 inches was the length. I'm sure the spoiler on the fabia would be pretty close to that. Remember the vinyl has a bit of stretch too.

I have a load of this spare if you wanted to try it?

Nice one Sam, I appreciate the offer, but you should hold on to it for if you wanna re do the grille, or even do ya own spoiler when it lets go because it seems they all do eventually...

I've just been out with the tape measure and the spoiler is appox 102cm wide, and that's not allowing for wrapping up into the seam gap.

Didn't measure the length, but seeing as the cut I've found on eBay was 1m / 1.2m I reckon it'll be enough to do the spoiler & grille... and then mayyyybe the handle, or perhaps the bump strips as I've got far to much wax on them over the years... or if I'm lucky all the above

This is the one I got on Ebay - 2m x 61cm, which gave me plenty for the grill and I now have loads left over for anything else

so if the roof is 1.1 wide

that means you only have 1m length wise... (not enough)
