Dead jealous! Mine should be on its way to Germany, I am getting a call from Skoda UK tomorrow to get a sit rep. Funny enough my dad's Yeti was build week 20 and ordered on the same day at the same dealer so I hope they arrive together!

Spoke to Skoda UK tuesday and it appears my car arrived at Emden on the 23rd Dad's Yeti arrived on friday 20th!

Now, lets hope they're already on a boat so I can have it next weekend!

Took delivery of our Candy White estate with Dark Chromes at the weekend. Very impressed so far. Funny as our specs are identical except i have parking sensors and you have cubby boxes. Posted a couple of pics if you are interested to see what it will look like: -

There is a large car transmission boat in emden at the momment called the "main express" which sets sail tonight and due in at grimsby at noon tomorrow. That could be the boat with our cars on.

I'Ll have a look later and see what's happening with boats to sheerness if you like. From recollection I think there was one arrived there from emden a couple of days ago.

Yes I remember week 20 -another build week that should have happened but didn't.

The Isar Highway, which again is a vehicle carrier, left Emden at around noon on the 25th and arrived in Sheerness at about 11 am on the 26th. I don’t know if these are the boats used by VAG but they do make regular trips between Sheerness – Emden and Grimsby – Emden. The boat which I hope is carrying my car, the Main Highway, has just docked at Grimsby.

So if I’m right your cars could be at sheerness now.

I checked and they use Schelde Highway, Wesser Highway, Main Highway and Isar Highway.

Mine's been built (week 21) so I'm playing the waiting game now...

Anyone had a news about their WK20 builds as yet...I'm waiting for a (what I hope is good news) call....

Last time I checked which was one week ago (24th may) my car had been built and was on its way to Emden for shipment to UK. As long as I know it has been built then thats OK with me, I just didn't want to see the build weeks getting knocked back all the time.

Since then there have been 2 vechiecal transoprt ships sailing from Emden to Grimsby, the last one arriving yesterday, so I assume that any week 20 builds for the north of UK will be in the country by now.

Anyone excited yet? :D :D

I'm phoning my dealer today. Not so much about the progress of the delivery but to find out a trade in price. Emailed him on thursday and have had nothing back so far. He's horrendous with communication. 15 grand on a car and he can't even call. It's a bit ridiculous! but oh well

I doubt it, they need two - three days to turn it round ready for exchange and are allowed up to a maximum of ten days from it arriving in the UK to register etc.

I would like it to be this weekend but alas I fear mid next week is more likely!

Last contact I had with the dealer was on the 24th when they said it was on its way to emden and would be ready to collect in 2 to 3 weeks so i think weekend is a litle to eary especialy as we have just had a bank holiday weekend. If I have had nothing from them I'll drop them a line at the end of next week I think.

Got an email from my dealer telling me the car should be with us "later this week". hopefully he'll pull the finger out and be the best dealer in the world and get it sorted for me for the weekend doubt it though. Start a new job on Monday so if I don't get it this weekend, i'm going to have to wait till next! :(

If you get it by the weekend then you should contact the Guinness book of records cause you have probably set a new world record for fastest order to delivery time for a skoda.
