I'm tempting fate here, but if mine does come on Sunday that's 9 weeks from order to pick up. Appears my dealer is not reading his e-mails, so I'm rather in the dark as to what is going on....

Mine will be 9 weeks on Friday. But at the end of the day I’m just happy it’s built and on its way, to me that’s the main thing, a few of days extra waiting I can live with. I’m just glad I’m not the guy on the Black Hole thread who had ordered his VRS in mid-January and just received his build week which was 42. A 40 week wait for a car that other people ordered 10 weeks later and only had to wait 9-10 weeks for. Not the best way to keep your customers happy.

I doubt it, they need two - three days to turn it round ready for exchange and are allowed up to a maximum of ten days from it arriving in the UK to register etc.

I would like it to be this weekend but alas I fear mid next week is more likely!

thats true about the 10 days form it arriving in the UK - but if it is held in a customs compound it is not classed as being in the UK...just a thought to cheer you up

That's disgusting, he should make a complaint to skoda UK and tell them they need to shift him up the queue else they're losing a customer.. (although doubt they'll care as they've had so many orders)

40 weeks is disgusting though, especially since other customers are getting their cars.

Just got myself some mats from Ambassador car mats (as recommended by a few guys on here). Hopefully the car will be here soon so I can put the mats straight in on Monday when they arrive

Surely someone has had some feedback from their dealer? I'm not so good at waiting around for things to just turn up....

I was told car would be at dealers by end of the week... thats all i've heard

John from Skoda UK called me today to say my car is status 20 bw26 so until it becomes status 30 (confirmed build week by factory) my car can bounce around through the system too :(

I phoned up because I couldn't configure them exactly how I wanted online. Couldn't really type in a code that way but ah well, better and yet, still cheaper than the OEM ones! Pretty chuffed

No word yet, its 10 weeks to the day from ordering on saturday. I want my damned car!!! I can only hope it turns up tomorrow and I can have it early next week or at the latest the weekend.

I think I had an advantage with delivery to the dealers. My dealer is a multi-franchise affair with 4 different makes of car so I guess it’s easy for them to fill a transporter have several different makes of car delivered at once.

Getting well gutted people are saying 8 weeks from order to delivery :( mines 8 weeks and im still 4 weeks away from it possibly even being built!! then add 4 weeks onto that for delivery so im looking at 16+ weeks atm :(
