MotoGP LeMans

Now who'd like to start

Do we think the weather will hold out. The teams are talking about bring wets in just in case it turns.

Is stoner and Pedbot going to blitz it or will simoncelli stick his oar in before falling off

Rossi, how far behind will he be 1",2" and what will the excuse be? Will the Ducati catch up before the end of the season?

And Lorenzo, they keep saying that LeMan is a Yamaha track but the stats show it's even stevens.

Thoughts!

Clearly a Honda track now with them locking out top 4.

The Honda produces the most power and now has this super fast gear change and together this is worth half to 3/4 a second depending on the track.

Great news from Qualifying is Cal getting 6th, out qualifying Bne Spies particularly who did not say nice things about Cal.

Lorenzo will be in good points and possibly on th podium and probably still win the title this year if Yamaha d ont loose any more ground on performance.

Always remember the M1 MotoGP bike is a across the frame 4 rather than trick expensive V4 etc.

The Ducati was suppose to be better after some upgrades but not looking good. Well done Bautista qualifying 12th after breaking his Femur two months ago.

The forecast is looking better, however rain would bring Rossi back in the race, so here's hoping fora dry race. The last 2 mins of qualifying were funny, watching Rossi drop down the leaderboard :)

Simoncelli is a worry and could mess up not just his own race if he's battling for the lead, hopefully Stoner and Pedrosa can get away :)

Cal? Love to see him do well, but I reckon he'll go backwards quite quickly.

Looking like another mid pack result for Rossi :)

No rain.....please!

I think the best Cal can do is 7th, behind the four Honda's one factory Yam (Lorenzo) & Rossi on the Duke. The Tech trois Yam just does'nt have the speed to do any more.

What did Spies say about Crutchlow?

I think it was reported in MCN and I recall he said the like of "he may not adapted like Toseland failed to". Which is sort of an honest observation as undoubtable many Superbike guys fail to adapt to MotoGP from WSB, best riders usually come via 125 and 250 as it was but I thought it unnecessary to say it.

Cal's style suits MotoGP I think and he will get smoother I reckon. Spies has not had a god year so far and should hold his tongue until he has a win despite his impressive AMA wins he has not done it in MotoGP yet.

Quality ride from Stoner, a class or two above today. Well done Dovi, Rossi gifted a podium even despite overtaking on a yellow flag.

Simoncelli's ride through was a disgrace! :(

Shame for Pedrosa.

Hard on Simonchelli.

Great to see Rossi back in the podium and Lorenzo not on the podium.

With Rossi and Burgess developing the Ducati the Yamaha will continue to fade probably.

Shame about Cal too.

Honda engine and gearbox combination is sensational, must be all the ex-FI Honda technicians they have kicking about.

As I thought, Stoner had a run away race once he got to the front.

Simoncelli should never of had that ride through. If Pedbot can't brake then that's not simoncellis fault! It looked like Pedbot was struggling to control the bike at that point. Another broken bone for him to add to his tally....he's just to light and small for a gp bike.

Rossi was gifted the podium and Lorenzo will whine on about a bad tyre choice or something.

Is De Puniet jinxed by that track or is it he's trying to hard for a home gp? Don't know if it was his mrs or capirossis, they showed on saturdays practice, but WOW  swmbo was not to impressed :giggle:

Pity about our Cal, trying so hard. Odd how he lost the front there.

She must have had 40 inch inside leg measurement, what a pair of pins.

Catalunya next but the form book is out the window. Come on Cal and Valy.

I more or less predicted the Honda/Yamaha (near) lockout of qualifying, with Vale best of the rest. Given that, I think the Duke's getting better. :D

As others, there's no way Sideshow Bob deserved a penalty for that (particularly a ride-though). I'll give Pedrobot a bye on this one, but I hope the stewards were besieged by riders and team chiefs (owners and/or managers) demanding to know if they were allowed to race or not!
