Single tone, not excessively loud or distinctive. Alright for a quick toot toot remember I'm here! Not much use for an oi you farking plank toot.

Airhorn wired in tandem would do the shake them awake thing though... Quick toot toot it wouldn't go off but hold the horn in an once the compressor spins up you'd be rattling their windows.

Twin tone but a bit high pitched. My Uncle had a Dodge Caliber courtesy car a couple of weeks ago and the horns were so loud I thought the windows were going to fall out - wouldn't mind a set of them.

I remember that some of the old Hillman minx cars used the come with a twin horn set up.

You could select either loud or soft accordingly by either pressing the left or right

side of a bar strip switch.

Expect now-a-days this would contravene some EU regulation and would be banned

by the "Health and Safety" boys.

Need the horns for my Vrs and wondering what ones to get now as aint buying new ones from stealers as silly money and cant find an octavia one online (might try a breakers as need a few other random bits). Was gonna get an audi one as aint exactly gonna be difficult to fit. Suggestions on a good sounding horn (cant believe i just asked that lol)?

What about good air horns.......from what i've heard they will awaken the dead...although the mot tester might have something to say so i'm told.
