I'm being offered 'cost price' tyres by a tyre fitter as I'm not 100% happy with the rubber I oringinally had fitted.

Question is...what is cost price for a 225/45R17 dunlop tyre? What do the tyre fitting companies pay for a tyre they sell to me at £110??

Usually the tyres are cheaper on there and you can get them put on by your usual local garage - gives you some idea of what the actual price of the tyres maybe. Saved my mum about £60 for 2 budget range tyres on her Pug.

Al, how are the Toyo's? I had them on my Saab and Audi before the Superb and rated them in the wet and dry
