Hi,

I have recently bought a 2006 Octavia Ambient TDI PD which, on the stereo system, includes the text "MP3".

I have looked everywhere in the vehicle but I can see nowhere to connect an MP3 player.

Any help on locating this would be most appreciated.

It could be that it plays mp3s from cds in the player instead of being able to plug a portable unit in.

It's usually in the arm rest, so if you don't have an arm rest it's unlikely to have been fitted. Possible to retro-fit one yourself though. Think there should be a few threads in the ICE section, or maybe the Octy II section.

Ahh ok, thanks for your help, i guess it means it'll play mp3 from CDs then as my car doesn't have an central arm rest
