Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to introduce myself here. I picked up my Fabia VRS a couple of weeks ago to replace my knackered old Punto JTD. I must say, it is a nice sold, well built little car and fairly nippy for what it is - most impressed.

It's a 2004 model in Silver with 70k miles on it. I was looking for one with the OEM HID's for a while but they were so rare and expensive, I eventually settled for one without. The interior was pretty grubby so I began by removing all of the seats and wet-vac'ing them on my driveway! They came up like new afterwards which was nice but I'll probably replace the drivers base and foam with new ones from Skoda as it is slightly worn.

I've just dropped a set of wheels off for refurbing in 'ghost chrome' (black with silver face), and should have them back in a week or so with some new Michelin PS3 tyres, which will hopefully sort out the understeer which I assume is due to the Ditchfinder Specials, which it currently has fitted.

The Fabia is my daily driver which I'll use for my 200-mile a week commute to work. My summer/weekend toy is a Nissan Silvia S15 which I spend way too much time and money on! (And it's for sale if anyones interested !?)
