I've been reading up on the Torsen system (sad, or what?). I know what it does, but I still don't understand how it does it :(

Mike, I've been having the same problem

That why I simply stuck to telling about the worm gears but failed to explain how these gears actually operate.

Idea behind torsen is simple: -think of rotating worm gear with a straight cut gear and vice versa. Which one is easier
