Forgive me xcyber, but practically every post you make is negative and critical of Skoda. Given you will have waited nearly a year, I am sure I am not the only person here who is thinking "why have you not simply cancelled your order?" I am 100% certain that I would not want to spend the thick end of a year groaning about something I actually have control over :wonder:

If I cansel the order I have to pay about 1700 GBP EXTRA to the seller..

First I was told an delivery at week 8 (when I put the order in week 42).. that was ok 4 months wait. and that was what the seller told me before I put the order..

then after week 8 it was suddently pushed to week 14.. not ok but I accepted it since I have waited so long already..

THEN.. after week 14 it took 1 weeks before I get in tuch with the seller again, and he told me that my car was put on hold?

then..

week 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 before I got next answer from skoda.. after about 10 e-mails to seller, skoda and volkswagen they now tell me that my car is priority1 and say they will build my car in week 36??

wtf man... talk about priority.. 4 months from now they can build my car!!

Is it strange that I talk **** about skoda??

what about the lies that skoda tells before we put the orders? what about the lies when they give those FALSE "build-dates"??

WHAT IF SKODA COULD TELL ME THAT THE DSG-BOX WOULD MAKE MY ORDER 1 YEAR IN DELIVERY - BEFORE I PUTTED THAT DAMN ORDER? I WOULD NEWER TAKEN THE DSG.. OR SKODA!

I THINK THEY COULD STOP SMOKING BAD SOCKS AND PERHAPS BUILD MY CAR SOON! Its not all that are so lucky that they just can cansel orders... but I have learned a lession! I will not order another bloody skoda in my life...

Hope others that are thinking to buy a skoda think twice!.. or 5 times before they put an order..

If the delivery time is unreasonable you are well within your rights to cancel and receive a full refund - just speak to Skoda about it and they will agree. May I also ask, this being the Fabia forum and all, how you have spent £28,700 for a new car? I brought a vRS with almost every extra less a couple and only paid just over £16k on the VAT offer and it would have been about £19k off it.

XCYBER,Feel for you not a good place to be to be honest you are between a rock and a hard place,members here should realise that xcyber has a good reason to be royaly miffed with skoda such a long wait and dealers got his money in the bank,but unfortunately you are not the only one with this problem ,most of the people waiting long times are for the 1.2 dsg's one of the longest waits especially if you've put extras on,we should be sympathetic and let the rants wash over us and offer a shoulder,I have had many a rant especially with the sat nav system,but one day you will receive your new furby and all the negativity will just drift away honest

I could.. but police would catch me with swedish plate after a while and I would end up in prison or pay dubble tax..

Its when the car is coming in to norway I have to pay norwegian VAT ($$$$$$$$) 23% vat + taxes of different kind.. climate-taxes, registration taxes..

I dont pay swedish vat because I take the car out of sweden before its registered..

And prices of cars in norway is higher then in sweden becouse of the strong NOK and employers have bigger salary in norway then in sweden.
