Got mine from tins.co.uk for

Barkers of Grimsby and Hull are one and the same dealers..SO BE CAREFULL.. :finger:

I was going to buy BRAND SPANKIN NEW and had looked at new and nearly new for 9 months before I got talked into a 3month old vRS FROM BARKERS GRIMSBY.."Swiss Tony" [NOT REAL NAME] the salesman of Skoda at Barkers convinced me I was getting all the same benefits of a new vRS car for A cheaper price...I never saved much and should have taken a chance with Internet supplier TINS.CO.UK With a Brand new one and am now sorry I didnt go along this route..... I WILL NEXT TIME.....

As I wasnt happy with it when I got it home I tried to exchange it under the 30 DAY EXCHANGE PLAN in Terms and Conditions but then discovered at this stage that Barkers were not authorised Skoda used dealers and didnt work to the terms and conditions relating to used cars per Skoda UK .. They refused point blank to put the faults right and said I should have seen them on delivery...WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS!!!!ILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!!!!

AT THIS STAGE I MUST POINT OUT I STILL HAVE A WARRANTY WITH SKODA but the faults I have are not covered under that warranty.. I HAVE LEARNT MY LESSON AFTER SPENDING

That thought had crossed my mind - but they're obviously operating separately since otherwise presumably Hull could sort out your problems - whatever they are.

I've been looking at your past postings and find http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?p=240468#post240468

"they have refused to sort out the problems I have with the car which I will not disclose on this forum ..........."

I can't seem to find anything you've declared wrong with your car apart from low tyre pressures - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?p=229236#post229236

But I can find previous discussions on the matter ending with a posting by "ffelan" saying:

"frankly im not really able to advise on whats up with her car if she cant be bothered to post it up on here... this would make things easier for all then we could give proper advice to her rather than just trying to annoy a dealer.

I want to help maria solve her problems but without a full story what can any of us do?"

Don't you think Maria that morally if you're going to keep slagging off Barkers of Grimsby and dragging Barkers of Hull into the equation alongside, you should at least point out to people here the nature of your complaints and why the dealer doesn't feel it's up to him to resolve them?

Paid 10995 for a new red one with no xtras in Oct o4 main dealer in Southampton.Get a loan at 5.9% and make them a cash offer. sell yours px no good... Best of luck. R

@Maria - if you have a gripe, please use the "Dealer feedback" area to report it, with substantiating detail.

@DRJ - if you have some other reason to SUPPORT Barkers, please provide similar substantiating detail.

Otherwise, the two of you, please take your discussion offline. Thanks.
