2nd hand VRs

Featured Replies

I have just been to my Skoda dealer in Hull to inqure about a VRs, he showed me a 2nd hand one he had in.

Its going for 10995, its got heated seats and cruise. Its black and has done 5k miles.

Is this a good price? I think it could be cheaper. Im going to px my Golf VR6 so do dealers move on price if you px?

Im going for a test drive at 1500hrs tomorow in thier demo car, anything I should be looking to ask/do?

TIA

Scott

Bargain that is, if its from a main dealer!

I paid

You'll get a better rate from a Bank Loan, and the car is yours from day 1. ;)

I got 8.8% on my vrs. i think that`s all you`re going to get.

No no no... Dont go for finance... Get a loan (good ones approx 4.9apr) as Geof said the car is yours then...

That price is about right on current resale values .

At the mo the vRS Furby is holding its value extremely well.

Probably not what you want to hear right now but I paid

Ask yourself the question, do you 'really' need heated seats and cruise ? . If not, get a bank loan, walk in with cash and offer the lowest price you can get away with, you should be able to get a brand new one for close to price you are about to pay for a 2nd hand one. I managed to get my dealer down to 11100 for a black fab vRS... then I bought a Yellow Octavia :D

The Hull Dealer is it Barkers by any chance? I bought a 3 month old 2nd hand vRS from their Grimsby dealer just before xmas and They were nice until they took my

Acording to Skoda UK BARKERS ARE NOT AUTHORISED USED SKODA DEALERS

Curious is it not that a garage selling new Skodas is not authorised as a "Approved Used Car Sales" outlet

However I've just checked Gloucester and find the closest two dealers to there - including the one I bought my new car from - are also not "Approved Used Car Sales" outlets - though mine certainly sells used ones.

I wonder what's special about a "Approved Used Car Sales" outlet???

The website says:

Yes the Hull dealer is Barkers, I will take this into account. Where is the nearest Skoda dealer to me then?

   If you're in Hull as your postings suggest - Barkers of Hull... It's the Grimby Barkers that aren't officially a "Approved Used Car Sales" outlet - the Hull branch is according to the Skoda website:

I've noticed that most people on here forget to look at the 4 most common places for getting a vRS at a good price.

firstly autotrader.co.uk, by far the best place to get your vRS from, be specific and dont be afraid to travel a few miles to pick it up (i drove 200 miles, but remember how fun the way back will be). Doesnt take long to notch up a Black Fabia vRS 04 plate, 2,000 miles

Had my VRS for 1 month now. It is an 03 (18 months old) with 10,000 miles on the clock. I paid

I will be picking my Furby vRS up on 1st March from Horners in Bury. '05' pre-reg'd with delivery miles in red with no extras for
