Just look in this PDF at the European one: http://www.skoda-aut...talogue_ENG.pdf

You'll find it on pages 10-11 :)

It looks good but i see it`s only on the hatch and not on the estate

It's a European PDF Brochure. I've not actually seen anyone else on here say that the Estate will be any different to the hatch and so I reckon the Estate will be the same as the Hatch.

Ordered the replacement black grill surround today.

Dealer looked a bit surprised but the order went through ok

John

Still no pics?

Would be great to see the pictures if you get a chance.

Would think for £ 62 and a bit of elbow grease I may do it to my silver one.

Thanks

Sorry not had a chance to add photos yet due to working. But will do.

The unreleased configurator shows a hatch and an estate with the black pack when you select the relevant option from the main page: http://cc.skoda-auto.com/gbr/Pages/step1.aspx

I found the link through the uk Skoda site. Went into the Fabia Monte Carlo section and click on Build Your Own from there.

I imagine it must be as the prices are in pounds. What has it got standard that yours doesnt?

I looked at vRS estate if you look at the standard kit it got

Components with special surface appearance (i think this is black pack)

Aluminum package

Automatic headlight actvation

Dipping breakaway interior view mirror

Front fog light and so on

it ok but it `s alot of kit for a fabia

Aluminium package sounds good :)

Is that door sills and such?

i'll take a guess that the Aluminium package is the pedals and sill protectors which are std on the UK VRS

Dipping breakaway mirror (unless it is an auto dimmer which i doubt but could be) is again i suspect the std one with the switch/lever underneath. I thought the VRS came with an auto dip but after collecting mine and being disappointed i re read the brochure and realised i had made a mistake.

Fog lights instead of DRL's i suspect

The auto on lights though would be nice, have driven one (hire) car with these and was quite good for going through the tunnels around Monaco on the auto route not having to keep turning them on and off again.

Got the parts today.

Fitting the top part is easy - just remember there is a screw to undo behind the badge !

Fitting the bottom bit is not so easy - the left hand bolt ( second photo) has a nut on the end - its very difficult to get your hand on the nut-

so do you let it just fall off ?

Is the other fastening (on the right of photo) just levered out ?

Must read the OP's instructions again.

John

PS - Got the top half done - tackle the bottom another day ;)

How long did it take from ordering to getting the parts. I'm going to sort my paper work out on Monday and Collecting the car on Friday. So may order them then.
