New vRS estate in black - pics

Featured Replies

Not many pics of Black vRS's about so here's some for the pot. I've only had the car 3 days and covered 80 miles but so far very happy. I couldn't afford to have it detailed by a professional so i gave it a good clean myself today - wash, Carlack 68 Nano Systematic Care, Carlack 68 Long Life Sealant, 2 coats Collinite No. 476S.

Very nice..but I'd cover your reg up

Bravo, for having guts to move away from Blue/White.

I sometimes wish I had gone back to black as every other vrs is white now. When I got my last vrs in white it was one of the first. My first vrs was black and I still see it about, in fact someone on here has it.

Ewans your car looks great btw, good job on the detailing too. Always more satisfying to do yourself anyway.

really nice, I would have had black If I could bear to clean it all the time!

Very nice! Did the dealer tint the windows for you before you picked the car up or did the car come from the factory like that?

nothings better than a properly clean black car just hard to keep that way.

The dealer tinted them for free as part of a deal he gave me, but you can order them as a factor option too - sunset glass I think it's called in the options list but I think they are a lighter tint

Best colour imho......

....but then I'm biased!

Very nice, have they started doing them with silver roof rails now?!...

The best choice of colour and shape... B)

Only because I have the same on a '10 plate, so glad I opted for the silver roof rails too. I'm also on a scottish plate.

I'm getting the windows tinted in the next couple of weeks.

You'll love it, happy motoring.

For once I agree with Mr Page

Why do people say that?

Very nice.

Class :)

Why do people say that?

With a vehicle index its not difficult to get the address, and as this forum is accessible to anyone.......well I will let you work out the rest! ;)

For once I agree with Mr Page

Touché.....but I think we have the same taste in bridesmaids! :p

Not seen another black FL Combi on here either....

When i got my vrs estate in blue, our sales director also had a L&K in black, saloon version. He hates it, always looks dirty, and regrets it big time.

Of course, what with his being diesel as well, i have fun reminding him of the fact he bought a taxi!

I still think the estate is a much nicer shape, its just black always looks a bit "hearse-like"

Tempted by a Combi next time round I must say - I'd agree on the nicer shape, and not as many around either.

Can't agree on black always looking dirty though ;)

Mine is black, black is best =)
