1 Touch Window

Featured Replies

Car was in last week having some workdone to it, I only noticed today that the 1 touch open/close on the drivers side is not working, its still working on the passenger side. Does anyone know if there is a quick fix or best just to put it back in the garage.

isn't there a way to reset the windows by holding the window button up when closed for around 10 seconds? (I might be thinking about my old car though..)

If not would disconnecting the battery for around an hour do the job?

will give that a go tomorrow.

Battery was disconnected whilst in the garage, but just find it odd that passenger window is still working fine ok.

Press switch to put window down keep it pressed down untill you hear a click. Do the same to put it up. 1 touch feature should work agen.

Lower window, raise it again, then let go of the switch then hold it up again for a few seconds. Hey presto

Can you do it on the passenger side?

IIRC the one touch function only works on the drivers side.

Works on both sides from the drivers switch panel.

A quick search pulls op the guide to resetting one touch windows.

Would like to thank you all for the help!

Tried all of the above and found the below was the only one to work.

1. have engine running

2. wind down the window holding switch till i heard the click

3. wind the window back up, let go of switch when closed

4. pull and hold the switch (in the closed position) for approx. 3 secs

5. switch off the engine and remove the key

6. switch on the ignition then try window, and hopefully hey presto!

Thanks again.
