Our bonnet stay is loose at the slam panel end - just pokes through the hole with nothing to attach it. What should be there?

My truck bonnet only clicked on one catch when I first got it. Dunno if this is the same problem? But mine was solved with a big dousing in wd40 and a good wiggle of everything. (on the truck!)

The 'grommet' answer was the one I was looking for - I'll be looking over the weekend to see if any I have will fit.
