The california scents last 2-3 month no problem! 10x the length of a magic tree for example and smell 10x better

I use the cup holder for mine but have toyed with putting it under the seat on a velcro pad.

For all the newbie Calicornia Scents buyers, ensure that your first purchase comes with a lid (which has variable opening) as you can then later buy the cheaper replacement tins to use with it.

The California Scents are awesome, had mine for about 3 months and can still smell it, mines is located in the cup holder behind the handbrake, nobody notices it sitting there as it sits pretty flush, definately recommend them
