Door Cards in leather

Featured Replies

Thinking of getting the door cards on my SE recovered at Seat Surgeons, anyone got any pics of ones they have had done ?

Originals seem to mark very easy ! :(

Was thinking about just plain black leather with the blue stitching to match std seats or maybe perforated leather?

I think they will look a bit strange with perforated leather. Will post some pics later.

I'd like to get mine done too - would be interested to know a price. Would seat surgeons just do the door cards though?

ive always wanted to get mine done, seat surgeons do it and ive seen a few done and they look really good

That would be great if you could. do pics.

Yes I wondered about perforated maybe looking odd, just thought something a bit different might be good.

Just a word of warning, but when I drove my Fabia SE all the way down from Edinburgh to Seat Surgeons in York last year to have the same thing done, Paul said that the leather in the SE is a different texture to the leathers that he uses, so wouldn’t match. He was honest enough to say that it’d look odd having two different leathers in the car, and I appreciated his honesty. Needless to say, I didn’t go ahead with getting the leather door cards done. However, if they’ve managed to source matching leather, then I’d have a rethink.

ROS53Y, it’ll be good to see the result when you get it done. As it’s Thursday today, you should be enjoying your leather-clad interior by now. Looking forward to seeing the piccies.

The leather he has doesn't match, Its a very hard leather to find. I have the closest match available with the closest match blue pipe and stitching. Im waiting for the call to say its done now. quite excited! if no delays ill post pictures tonight!

BAD BAD NEWS :'( the fella whose doing the doors dad's very ill and in hospital. He has made his best effort and removed the rear door cards and completed the front passanger door. I am going to collect the car now as I NEED it for the weekend. Ill post a picture up of the front as soon as I can.

NooNOoo! Couldn't drive that far just for that! Its done by a fella in chatham (kent) Guys PM me for details if your interested and Gareth, Txt me. At the minute he is having a few personal problems and this is the reason for only one door being done. Its a really good quality finish and im really pleased with it.
