Mines week 25 build, so mid july for mine im hoping. Dealer still thinks pre-MY12 orders will come as MY11 models regardless of build date

My monte is currently sat on an unconfirmed build week of 26 :( Ordered start of April.

I am very tempted to just get the black grill for mine...I think it would look smart on the red / black combo.

I don't want the lights though...

Any pictures would be great if anybody has the grill on their VRS!

Saw that thread a week or so ago, but I hadn't logged on for about 5 days so it got lost a few pages back.

I was supposed to be getting the black headlights and grille when I picked up my new vRS on Wednesday, but they can't source the lights as yet cause i've got curve projector headlights and these aren't available on the monte carlo and there's no part numbers as yet for the proper vRS ones.

So i'm stuck with none as yet!!

Appreciate the point about the curve projector headlights but I wonder why they didn't fit the black grill? Was your car post build week 22 or have you negotiated to have the black pack with your dealer?

Sorry but more I see the black pack on the Monte's the happier I am that I've ended up with an MY 11 car. The Grille is fine but the black headlights are a step too far I think.

I think the black pack will drive sales of black cars and also the black roof option, if you dont get the colour choice right think the black pack will look a bit odd.

I feel the same about chrome, just doesn't work with certain colours.

There's a few combos posted in the register thread that I'm not keen on but I'll keep my opinion to myself as one man's meat is another man's poison...
