Just an idea that's possibly been tried and failed, but...

Why don't you see if you can set up a Q and A session with Skoda UK (maybe in person, maybe eg by email or some other format) and see if you can get some answers to some recurrent questions, for example:

Why can't we get 16" alloys on most Yeti models in the UK?

What is the problem with providing an MDI interface on UK models when virtually all other territories seem to have it as an option?

Why can't we have an option to set up an MPH readout in maxidot? (I know the standard answer but unconvinced that it really applies.)

And I'm sure that other posters here could add to this list.

Anyone interested in giving this a try (on behalf of the forum rather than as an individual)?

This Q and A format with the maker or their local representative is widely used in other websites - any reason why it might not be tried here?

Because they don't like us ....................

We save people money and we keep them out of dealers being two reasons why.

I'll move this to general car chat

Thought Colin was trying to open talks with Skoda uk, plus they did turn up at the National meet with 2 LHD Yeti's that had been in the Country less than 24hrs before the were shown round the dealers.

Perhaps Colin could give us an update?

I recently had my car serviced and when I told the service manager I was a member of briskoda and was going to reveiw his garage, he was suprisingly nice :giggle:

GTFO! :D

The clue is at the bottom of every page.

And no Skoda don't really like us, not to mention vehicle specs are really a factory concern.

As Ross says - Look at the bottom of every page. Colin is always open to new suggestions and ideas.

I always thought Skoda quite liked the site, even if they dont get involved for reasons unknown. Hence the 1st public outings in the UK of the Yeti at the national meet a few years back.
