I think the vRS should have always had the vented bonnet like on the + study, makes the car a bit meaner.

I had the white vRS wheels on the old Furby and I found the quality of the paint on them was very poor - very very easily damaged when you were washing them and mine ended up looking really scruffy.

Well, I part/ex'd the OZ Superturismo wheels to Pit8ull as the misses threw a wobbly and got a set of vRS Gigaro's in silver in exchange, which are currently being painted Mullberry (Golf VR6 Colour) be finished when my mate gets time

But for now he's painting my interior bits Piano Black like 32kofdata's car - he gave me inspiration the brighten up a dull interior!

So far the dash pod, radio surround and side vents have been painted.

Middle vent and DSG gear knob surround to be painted next!

Yeah - 32k said it has clips onto the air con unit thing below, so does this need to come out with it?

Cadbury purple maybe too purple, Mullberry is a bit lighter and redder.

I've vinyl wrapped my interior air vents/radio & gearbox surround & door pulls in gloss black.

The middle air vent is a pain to get out & back in

Well i did remove the air con unit to see what was go on in there but i've got the climate control a/c .The middle air vent is seated on 4 clips you need to push them in and it pop's out to be far i would see if a dealer would remove it for you it not a fun job to do

Looks smart - I didn't fancy vinyl so painting was a better option and with my mates skills came out perfect!

Will get the middle one out carefully or get dealer to do it!

How does the gear knob surround come out? Clips?

Yes it's clipped in all you need to do is pull it and it pops out
