MDI distortion

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Just got my MDI cable, plugged it in great quick interface but the sound is all distorted. I think its the Ipods fault, maybe too much output but I`m not sure if I can do anything to remedy this issue?

Any ideas greatly received!

Thanks

If you suspect that it is the iPod output, have you tried turning the 'music' volume down on the iPod and up on the stereo to compensate?

It works on my iPhone using the top output to Aux input.

It won't be the iPod volume because using iPod cable engages it's "line out" which is a fixed level and relies then in external amplification

Try your iPod in a dock station type stereo and see how it sounds

Also try copying some of your tunes to a USB stick and connect that through the MDI

That should help you narrow down where the problem lies

I have the same problem. Did anyone find a solution?
