Sorry think it looks awful, standard aerial may be quite big but at least it looks like it belongs on the car

For me the aerial is not right for the car but if you like it go for it it `s you car at the end of the day

I personally did not like the standard aerial & won't be putting that back on.still prefer the smaller halfords one but agree the smaller Skoda one will look better

Aerial on the roof rack is great. If you look close its bent over but gives me great radio / sat nav signal cause the whole roofrack becomes the antenna

can you buy a stubby aerial from the vw dealer to fit the fab or the roomy pete

Personally I dont see much wrong with the standard beesting aerial, no different to what they've been fitting to VAG products for years. At least its not mounted at the front of the roof or on the wing like some cars

I got one of these, fits well and signal is just as good as the standard.

Short stubby antenna FTW. Or at least the short Skoda original antenna.

I wonder if you cut the end of the screw will it fit perfect with the base? Maybe the screw will get ruined but you never know until you try... hmmmm.

Just got my Fabia vRS, &.... the aerial clouts the garage (up, & ove) door. How much shorter is the Halfords aerial (& is it any good?) Silverlink.

Got one of these on mine and it works great, stops the standard aerial hitting the hanging down handle on my garage. Does look a bit shiny but dulls a little over time.

Does the trick for a £ 9.99.

Got one from Car Masts UK on ebay, half the length of the standard aerial, no more bong,bong,twang,twang as I drive in garage, Thanx 4 advise.
