I need some help diagnosing an issue when I accelerate the clutch pedal goes down an inch or so then when I let off it comes back up there is no clutch slip as it is a new clutch fly wheel ect it's been bled but it was doing it even before I changed the clutch so it's not the clutch could it be the clutch master cylinder ? If so does anyone know a part number ?

Sounds like the clutch return spring on the pedal box is loose or broken.

It needs a special tool, and is ultra fiddly to do. Impossible to explain, but it is covered in the Haynes and Skoda workshop manuals.

The clutch pedal housing welds can also fail, so worth having them checked as well.
