hiya peeps, hope someone can help, i had a blown bulb this morning, changed it, still no dipped beam on either side, main ok, fog ok, checked fuses, all ok.

is there anything else to look at ?????

1998 skoda octavia slx tdi

also same car on closed road 80mph in 5th, foot hard down 100mph in 8 seconds, does this sound right, it dont go like its a diesel, lol and its the same for 90-110mph

Were both dipped beams out at the same time? Might be the headlight switch?

relay or stalk maybe?

relay or stalk maybe?

where are the relays for the headlights, are they up under the dash on drivers side

May sound daft but was your ignition on when you tested them? Is 8 secs 80-100 good?

The octavia doesn't have any relays for the lights.

Check the wiring on the stalk, and on the headlight switches, if not it will be one of those which is faulty.
