Tandy Camper pod & Felly pickup on e-bay

Featured Replies

That's, er, different.

I wonder what happens to the pickup tail-gate. :|

Different is the understatement of the decade there! I would say the tailgate could be in the down position, as it does have a fairly long overhang.

I spotted this and thought 'I've got to have it', even the missus wanted it! (which is very rare for her to express an interest in anything truck related!) Would be ace for the 3 weekends a year I used it. I know I'd soon get sick of having it kicking about the garden. I have a feeling its a bit heavy on the rear suspension (the truck for sale needs attention on the suspension) I bet my lowered truck would have none of it! A great idea though for someone with lots of storage space.

fecking awesome! unfortunately i dont think mrs ims would feel the same

looks as ugly as the felly estate box van things they do in czech

Check this out. Weird or what? Never seen one in my life. I think Tandy come from the Isle if Wight.

Your right, it is a Tandy, but they came from I.O.W. rather than come from I.O.W., there is currently a company on the island however called 'Romahome' which are the same type of thing. Someone i know has similar on a Reliant Kitten of all things! wouldn't fancy a camping holiday in it...

For those who are into this stuff, check out this website:

You'll see that Tandy only produced one model called the pony hence the 'graphics' of horses above the cab and was fitted to various donor pick-ups. Some might say it looks aload of pony aswell!
