Are you really sure you WANT to grow up?

Are you really sure you WANT to grow up?

No, I don't want to ... but people keep telling me it's inevitable one day. Not sure I believe them :giggle:

i don't want to either.

much more fun being young and carefree.

i shall resist the inevitability for as long as possible. :giggle:

63 and still wondering what happened to the 1960's.....I could have sworn I was there.

Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional... :)

66 and still love new toys !!

As my dear old Mum used to say 'growing old is better than the alternative' (she did the alternative at 88) :)

58 but will be 59 when Yorkie finaly arrives. Presuming I have not exploded in anticipation! :)

39 this September. :giggle:

er......

sorry.........

What was the question?......

WAS there a question?

Ah yes, I remember it well.

I am 9, that's nine.

Nine years old.

That is, in Welsh farm collie years. In Yooman years that makes me very nearly 63 (August). (But you're only as old as who you feel.)

Played a ceilidh in a church in Reading on Saturday night for a crowd of 20 and 30 somethings. Average age of the band was nearly 60 - and we STILL had more energy left over than they did at the end of the evening. Then drove the Yeti home (not a collie is sight), getting in at about half two, and by the time I'd rehydrated myself with milk and stuff the sky was lightening, the birds chirping, the feral cats prowling - and still the cloud of adrenaline wouldn't disperse, preventing anything that could be called sleep from intervening.

And so, in the afternoon went and auditioned for the role of Buttons in next years Panto. Buttons? At 63 (nearly). I think I understand all the comments on here about being only 21 in the head. They had me dancing something called a salsa which I had always thought was a dip you plunged bits of cucumber and carrot into, then dripped it all over your shirt. Then they made me sing a song, too.

Its a wonderful thing this feeling and acting your age, y'know. (And to my surprise, as Steve Jobs would say 'It just works' with the emphasis on "just" I think!!)
