Superb!

I didn't quite go to these lengths with mine, just de-rusted with a Dremel wire brush, Kurust, and then two coats of black hammerite and they're pretty good, but yours must look spanking in the metal B)

Cheers Andrew, wheels are off for a refurb next so they have to look good.

There will be pics B)

Was definitely worth the effort, they looked A1

I've done mine with a couple of coats of hammerite smooth Satin black today, didn't have time to trawl the world looking for Green as I need to get the car through the MOT. Going to do the rears Black also. I let the Sun do the Baking, do they really need to go in the oven?

Nice one Martin, I was thinking black at the start but in the end it had to be green

Are you through the MOT yet?

They probably didn't need the oven treatment but I had plenty of time with them before they went on

and with at least 7 or 8 coats it made sure they were properly fully dry after each one and stopped

them going gummy. Hopefully they are on the car now?

I went down to London to buy a van today and didn't have time to ring Streetwise.

Needless to say I'll be on the blower at 9am for an update.

Not quite Mot'd. Been busy today though and will be busy again tomorrow ;)

They look good! :)

I painted mine last weekend - I wish I'd thought of using the oven to dry them!

Bedding in this evening ;)

Don't go OTT bedding them in Garry, I just drive the car as I normally would after fitting them. Just go easy for the first couple of hundred miles

Remember to take a cloth and some glass cleaner, To wipe the smear marks your nose will leave!

:thumbup::giggle:

And makeup remover to remove SWMBO's marks from the windscreen as well.

P.S. as above go easy on the bedding in........find nice quiet road and do a few stops from 60mph to 10 mph with gentle to med pressure to help bed in....also do not stop after doing the braking as you need airflow to stop the pads cooking! B)

Maybe a silly question here, being early in the moning and mayb not read properly as yet but everyone who has upgraded to the 312mm, is it just front setup that you do or is it better to do both front and back?

Just front normally. I have done front 312 and have no plans for rear other than better pads :)
