p.s..... I dont want this to start another I hate Skoda UK thread' date=' this problem is of my own design and I am taking measures to rectify it.[/quote']

As a normal member like everyone else, can i please point out Ross's request as quoted above and suggest it is respected.

If you have any ideas or suggestions then pass them privately to the Site management, as issuing "advice" to Skoda UK on an open forum is not going to help an already awkward situation.

Cheers :)

I can see says the blind man ;)

This ones going to run and run....in a free society Open forums should be about Open debate.

We don't say "Don't criticise (e.g.Tony Blair) on this board - write the moderator a private letter instead...."

The only time a moderator should step in is if unaccepatable language or libelous allegations are made. Despite the wishes of Ross and the BRISKODA staff, a lot of people are upset that SKODA UK have behaved in this way.

Skoda UK could repair the damage easily by posting a statement with facts and reasons....but I doubt that will happen....

All Geoff is asking, and I agree with him on this one, is to respect Ross' wishes and not to turn this into a I hate Skoda UK debate, which the majority of well wishers have stuck to but a few have not. Ross may come back, but who knows? only Ross, and time will tell.

Only Skoda UK can tell you why they did what they did, and the way to fix that is to try to get Skoda on board in one way or another as an ally, not an enemy.

...and what if Ross gets more flak because of this or even worse? Or Briskoda has some trouble over this?

What is everyone going to do then?

I understand people are upset and rightly so however, Ross has made a decision off his own back and it has to be respected.

As for getting a dialogue going.....make your suggestions to the team and let see what can be done.

Briskoda has never been associated with Skoda UK but if we want to have some influence then we have to been grown up about it.

Not preaching, not lambasting.....just , hopefully bringing a sense of purpose and level headness to it all.

Cheers. :D

Agreed, and I think that puts a cap on this thread...
