Anyone in Southampton/Portsmouth running a remapped Diesel VRS?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking to sell my Clio 182 and buy a fabia VRS. I'm looking for that has already been rempped if possible.

I wondered if anyone in the Southampton/Portsmouth area is running a remapped VRS and wouldnt mind taking me out to show quick they are?

I've test driven a standarard Fabia Vrs and it obviously felt sluggish compared to the 182, I'm just interested to see the difference with a remap.

I'm not asking to test drive only want to passenger to see what it's like.

Regards

Simon.

There are a few of us in this district but not too many fabia owners. There was a member called phantomlurker but not sure if he's still about, he works over Southampton.

Yup, i'm still here! No remap though, wallet police won't allow it! :'(

I've ridden in one and certainly noticed the difference, though how large it is i'm unsure (because it wasn't my heavy right foot doing the pushing!).

I guess it depends whats right for you, I love mine because I do mostly motorway miles, get a good return with regard to MPG, but can still have awesome fun on empty roads. Good luck in your search.

maybe we ought to gatecrash This?
