What is it with Nissan Micra drivers

Featured Replies

Followed a Micra home on one of our local specialities -very narrow road with grass down the middle, frayed edges, high banks, hidden ditches and soft verge. Driven by an out of area girl and her sister, just passed her test, brand new car. Watched as it went too close to the edge, flipped over and proceeded down the lane on its roof before doing another somersault and righting itself on a corner. Have to say it stood up to that pretty well though they sustained minor injuries and shock ... thank goodness I have basic first aid - the ambulance got lost. Don't have a car crash in rural West Wales, the ambulance service is a joke.

They are strong. SWMBOs pal T-boned a car that had pulled out from a side road across a dual carriageway from in front of a lorry which was turning left. She hit it at about 60 (not much time to brake) and was hit from behind by another car doing 50/60. The only bit of the car left was the passenger cell. She had minor whiplash and burns from the seatbelt but nothing else.
