Matt

your egr doesnt leak at all :o

I like the way you've made sure your pipes don't leak or pop off.

Been rattling my brain for weeks on how to secure them!!

So you've used - jubilee clips wrapped in insulation tape held together with tie wraps??

Am I right.

Yes, decent quality jubilee clips wrapped in black tape to prevent the risk of pipe damage at the clips edges (which can be quite sharp.) Tie wraps are all weather polypropylene (don't go brittle with heat.)

If they leak through the little hole below the 'flying Saucer' section the diaphragm is leaking. New EGR time.

EGR's shouldnt leak, had 2 vrs's and no leaks

Mm I fancy the idea of having the bleep on locking. Can a dealer do this quick and easily?

You might find the dealer won't turn that option on. Think theirs a law about it.

They can do, though being dealers, they may want to charge you. A good independent can also do it. Probable reason it's disabled normally is it's part of the Thatcham requirements.
