The Slam panel (panel behing bumper & grille) is getting scruffy and I want to spray parts of it to freshen it up.

Problem is what paint? Gloss is too shiny. Matt is a no go. Satin Black the obvious choice but is way off.

Its almost a cross between Gloss and satin.

So anybody know whats the best match?

Colour code it. White would look awesome.

Only problem with colour coding them is you can then see them through the grill and look a bit odd, this is why they are black.

Mine is Gloss Black from new, you dont notice it when looking at the front, (Silver bodywork).

I did mine satin black.

They get dirty and look a satin black, but they are gloss black typically. I used a bit of rubbing compound and polish/wax to bring mine back up to a gloss.
