I also cant do it by twisting the bar because as i tighten one side it loosens off the other!

looking forward to getting mine, fitted a seat front yesterday just looking forward to having a rear now....

True man!it was a pain, but eventually forced it in. bloody hard job.just finished now :)

Well ive tried socket, spanner, shouting, swearing and shouting swear words and it wont go!. One side is tightened as tight as possible and there's about a 4mm gap between the bar and the bolt head on the other side now so hopefully i'll shall find a away to tighten the little critter up!

I never said they were easy to fit! But glad everyones has arrived - Tommy - thats ridiculous! I hope you take them to the cleaners!!

I used a small deep socket with a flexidrive to a 1/2 ratchet.

Mine's not going on for a couple of weeks or so. Got other things on my plate - damn French P.O.S :D

Fitted mine this morning, took about 10 mins to fit. Bar was about 10mm short which if this bar is the same length as everyone else's proves my body tollerance comment earlier. Easily sorted though, just made some c shape packing washers. Before tightening it up fully.

Going out for a cross country drive later as I'm taking the boy horse riding so will give a report on any difference.

If. Nothing else though make a good mounting for the sub box lol

Having just driven out I can confirm it certainly makes a difference. Back end is much stiffer feeling more planted in turns. As with everything it's a balancing act, front end now feels a little lighter with a few steering corrections required so getting used to it again, think I'll adjust up the front dampers a touch and should really corner then, using all 68bhp with confidence lol

Nice to know you think it makes a difference! Also the comment about the boddy tolerence makes things interesting. I've now fitted 4 inc mine - all them lined up spot on. Seem a little weird yours fitted a little short. Glad you got it fitted up in 10 minutes! :)

It makes a difference that's for sure, maybe more so on mine with the other things done, lighter weight etc.

Not surprised difference in body widths but easliy sorted out, thanks a lot mate.

Shall I start a new list for these?

Or can I be cheeky and ask if there are any that haven't been paid for? Payday tomorrow so could send the money straight away ;-)

I thought you already had started a new batch list on pg 8?? There are none left in this batch - I can get another few made up early next month if people still want them??

Ill take a Matt Black one, soon as there back in stock! PM me to remind me.

Just wondered when did the 2nd batch get posted? Seems everyone else has received their braces.

Yes please, still very much want one. Ideally plain metal so I can paint it a nice lary green colour :-)

got mine and fitted it, it was a ****** to fit but with a little bit of editing of the length of the bolts and swearing a lot its all fitted

I fitted mine about a week now and only can say:i love it.don't think will take it off.... It reminds me of my old Clio emoticon-0105-wink.gif improved handling a lot.tested it through sharp corners ,no body roll and car is more stable on the road.just hear the tyres squeaking lol.oh,yeah, one other thing i love that when i park on uneven surface one (rear)tyre is up in the air emoticon-0144-nod.gif

I might fit mine this weekend. Where is the numpty guide for fitting again? :D I will need it!

To fit these bars is it just a case of follow the guide for Forge's bar?? What are the differences, if any?

Please let us know when you 've posted the first few out and who to, thanks

there it is, its real easy to do its just there is very little space for hands which is why it cant take some time. You may need to shorten one of the bolts to help it go together but be patient and it will be alright

Received mine Tuesday. Painted black magic to go with the brum brum, im going to fit it after work if I have time.

How long does it take to fit? Roughly?
