Still... why? Fair enough on a Porsche, but have Skoda come that far??

Mine fell off the other day..lol.

I did the same with my Superb, so many problems with it and Skoda UK's attitude i took off EVERY badge-Front ,rear, wheels and even the steering wheel.

Then i sold it. :D

I went out to my Octi only to discover all four center caps were nicked from my alloys .Dikheads :finger:

Some people remove or cover them in some way as they are ashamed to admit that they brought a Skoda. It's only really started when the current badge with the Skoda name on it was introduced.

Seen loads around here with badges having been knicked - has been happening for several years :(

Wear all of mine with pride. It is very important to me that the driver behind me knows exactly what left him standing :D

Not suggesting I have stolen any.I mean the ones on my wheels bonnet and rear are all clean shiny and bright.

This problem was bound to occur when skoda became trendy ;)

not just skoda's my mum had her rover badge nicked last month

:D I hope it's Joss Stone groupies :heartbeat

Don't want to encorage this though

Or maybe someone is trying to collect a badge from every manufacturer, to get into the guiness book of records

Steve

I have to say whoever nicked that badge off that blue furby hasn't used the fishing line technique! Done some good damage to the paintwork in the process, and knowing when I tried this on the wreck's badge, I ended up buggering it up around the edges and I couldn't do anything with it, in terms of resale. :(

The owner of the above clearly knows about the badge being gone, as they've cleaned up the gunk left over from its removal... I only hope the new badge covers up the scars. :)
