Well i'am thinking on tuning my octavia 1.9 tdi (90) alh engine, but i don't know where to start with it!

I'am thinking an induction kit of some sort, a better intercooler not really wanting to play about with the turbo but i may upgrade it, also adding a boost gauge and a dump valve, and a tuning box.

I've had the car at 130mph before but i just want quicker acceleration

what could help me get this goal ?

A remap will get you to about 110bhp after that you are looking at changing injectors and other mechanical bits to get more. I assume that yours is one of the later cars with a VNT turbo. Probably not worth messing around with induction kits or the intercooler really.

I had my ALH 90 estate remapped earlier this year.

The car was on the rolling road first, and gave 97hp standard and then 123hp after.

Figures mean nothing, the car was transformed.

only reason i mention the intercooler and such was i seen a tdi in germany and it was scary fast, but i remap does sound like it would be the first stop
