So yea... made some plans in my head for my plain silver Fabia. Nothing new and ground breaking here, but just what I consider nice.

Looks great here, but dunno how it'll turn out in reality. The wheels wont have anywhere near as much dish sadly.

Plans would be, De-chrome the grill, yellow fogs, lamin-x smoke on the headlights, black B pillers, coilovers/55mm springs, 17" BBS LM-R replica wheels.

So, Before:

And hopefully after:

I think it looks rather nice personally :)

Any other additions, bar a Cupra splitter and I really don't like them too much.

It looks pretty good but I think it would be nicer without the black headlights ;) but if you insist on the black headlights you should maybe consider colour coding the grill surround black?

Like the b pillars tho :) how did you do it?

Duh it's photoshop lol

Photoshop :)

Selected it > desaturate > Darken :)

But i'll just get some textured black vinyl from the local suppliers and apply it there.

These yellow fogs really seem to be catching on :D

Pretty much what I'm planning with my silver furby, smoked headlights and yellow fogs, but I'm defo doing the grille black. I'm leaving the B pillars silver and colour coding the door handles and bump strip (or removing it).

Was colour coding an optional extra then? I didnt realise that, still learning only had it a week and a half!

Don't like the yellow fogs

Dont know tbh. I know early models def didnt have colour coded handles, but maybe it was optional on later models. Seen very few like that.

It seemed to be standard on the later cars, so 56 and 07 plate cars.

Looks good B)

Be careful when purchasing the replica wheels - the quality can vary wildly. IIRC MarcMac runs LM-Rs on a silver vRS and they look good.

Also, good luck finding some genuine red BBS centre caps for less than around £100 a set. If you do, please let me know as i've been after a set for my BBS RK504s for ages.

Mine has colour coded door handles but the bump strips are black, absolutley no idea which moron decided to do this but I will be getting the bump strips colour coded before too long ... Oh mines a March 07 car so one of the final 22 built :D

Mine is 56 plate with silver handles and yet black bump strip...

Mines an April 04... not sure what that makes it on an English plate, the finish on both strips and handles is definatly factory.

Gareth_1.8T, if you dont mind having replica centres, try contacting www.autoalloys.com, based in Northern Ireland, I'm certain that they've put ones out like that before with rep wheels and are very good quality.

Ask for Alan or Paul to help you out :)

cheers for the contact Mr Gobsheene.

I am a bit of a wheel snob :D and currently run genuine BBS RK504 splits. I have purchased a set of custom BBS stickers from the sticker providers on here, but it felt dirty :p to put them on genuine wheels.

Picked up a couple of sets of genuine caps from Justmatz recently (including an awesome blue limited edition 'design line' set at GTI international B) ) which will be put on as soon as it stops raining!

I find it a bit crap that a so called "top of the range" version comes with black handles and bump strips.

shhhhh, don't say that. The Elegence owners will be in here before you know it, harping on about having rear electric windows and a fancy drawer in the dash :p
