A friend of mine is selling his octavia 1.8t 4x4 2002 and i was thinking of getting a gti 2003 this year, what is the weight of the octavia 4x4? what is the mpg? to compare with the gti.

I like the car but what i do is drive around the city, i have never go outside the city with my car i have a golf 2.0 right now and yeah i would like the idea of 4x4 but i would not go big power or anything maybe a couple of upgrades and enjoy my car, i live in Dominican Republic and here the skoda are harder to sell, well my friend start selling his car in february because he is going to leave the country.

tbh not the really the ideal city car, you'll probably be lucky to get 25mpg in urban driving.

The hatchback octavia's are a pig to reverse due to high boot design. The vRS is even worse due to the spoiler.
