Hi,

I have a roomster scout as a courstesy car at the moment and yesterday i was driving along, and the glow plug warning lamp began to flash and the Engine management light is on continuously. the dealership thinks its the DPF but it doesnt appear to be doing any regen, went for a long motorway drive in 4th gear to try and clear and it didnt work? anyone else had this problem???

Needs trip to dealer a.s.a.p. to check if it is a sensor failure or DPF, motorway run does not always work, sensor failure is quite common, they have been modified more than once.

Hope they don't try and take you for a new DPF.
