Hi, got a Skoda Fabia 1.4 Comfort (2000). Was driving today and the EPC light came on, I've checked the brake lights and they're fine so it isn't a fuse AFAIK.

I'm not the best with cars so not sure what else to check, I've got a sneaky suspicion it's something to do with the catalytic convertor but like I say I'm and idiot when it comes to cars.

Couple other points, I've recently had the radiator fixed as it was leaking. Also, I have a couple of other 'problems' with the car, pictures below...

Everytime after driving I seem to have an oily smell and the car seems to be extremely hot under the bonnet

When I open the cap here the liquid bubbles up and basically empties.

I've checked my oil via the dipstick and it seems fine but when I open the cap there it seems very dry.

Guess work without a code scan to see if faults are logged. Other faults, I would suspect head gasket.

The coolant cap should only be taken off when coolant is cold

Obviously it will bubble out if opened when hot

Could be a blocked rad... Worth a flush out and refil of coolant

Took it to the garage there and apparently it's the Cam Sensor Belt, does this sound right? Quoted £225 to get it fixed.
