Ouch!!......just follow the Haynes on the proceedure....just remove the caliper only (two bolts) and screw the piston all the way in......better do it to the other side as well....when screwing the piston back in did you bled that piston as same time to get rid of fluid???

Yeahh we screwed both sides in (and drained both) but think the one side could have done with going in a bit further :( but it was such a pain to screw in that we thought we'd try it

Did you us a wind back tool or the pliers trick???? Even with the wind back tool the pistons go back a bit further than you think....in fact the piston gets further in with the dust skirt slightly proud! B)

Used long nose pliers couldn't find a wind back tool anywhere near us :/ will have to see what it's like when it comes back from the garage tonight and see if it needs adjusting

Oh dear...no wonder you had problems...windback tools are a must...pliers trick is a ****ing pain in the **** ans dosn't do the job properly!

You can get windback tools from halfords etc...Laser brand....code 3240 or 1314 can't remember which. B)

haha we managed to do it but yeah was a bit hard :/ if we can't do it anymore with what we have will get some :)
