Swapping door cards......things to check

Featured Replies

So I finally got around to putting one of my leather door cards in my Toledo yesterday

All appeared to go swimmingly I thought

Old one came off quite well

Replacement went in OK, or so I thought

Got in the car and pulled the door shut, then guess what?

Yep, you've guessed it, I couldn't get the fecker open again

Looks like the handle cable hasn't connected properly, so I'll have to take the beggar apart again

Doh!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are missing Goldmember in the chat room on a night...

Please say you did both sides and had to climb out the window

Sorry to disappoint, but it was driver's door only, and I managed to open the rear window to reach the door handle too - you surely don't think I'm completely useless :-(

I hope swmbo knows about this and laughed at you! :giggle:
