I need to take the TIP off in order to gain access to the inlet manifold and EGR pipe. I have a 1.9TDI ASZ engine. I can see how to take it off at the air filter end, however I am not too sure where the other end goes, I assume it connects to the turbo. What kind of connector would it be? And how do I access it?

Any help would be extremely appreciated!

Does your car have a transverse engine? (I've seen Audis with 1.9TDi mounted in-line).

On the presumption that it does, the intake routing goes air filter -> turbo -> intercooler -> manifold. If the layout is the same as the Octavia, the pipes to and from the intercooler are jointed on the right-hand end of the engine, just in front of the cambelt cover.
