Yorkshire Meetings

Featured Replies

Following from the meet last Sunday,

I was thinking that maybe we should consider making it a more regular thing in the area? The venue was fantastic (Harrogate Arms) and fairly local for many of us.

What d'you think?

Sounds good to me can you receive pms yet, I have sent you a pic of your car from the meet

pics of the car lowered on here too B)

Sounds like a plan. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Yes I can (renewed my Freedom :)) and thanks for the pic mate.

Your car looks loads better now it has been dropped :p

We just need to decide which Sunday of the month, last one? , then we can place it on the calender for recurring event, like the Midlands meets do, and cheers Harry

Yeh perhaps the last sunday of the month?

Sunday is a good day but the only down side is that most people work the following day therefore an evening meet may be out of the Question for some members

Me personally would prefer a Sunday afternoon meet, say from 1:00 pm which would tie in with some Lunch, (keeping the Wife happy)

Just my thoughts but I'll go with the flow.

I agree. 12:30 ish would be far better.

Missed the last one but will make it to the next one.

Right at the end of the month the next one.

Phil

I retired today  so evenings fine by me.....Ok with lunchtimes too though.....although we do like to go for walks on Sundays. It was nice and quiet on Sunday evening, presumably not so at lunchtimes?

How about mid afternoon on a Sunday - say 4/5pm ish. I play football on a Sunday and don't get home til 1 or 2pm. I like the idea and so far the H'gate Arms seems to have been the best venue.

I can never take it as certain I would be off Sunday lunch that is why I suggested evening ,and I am a big F1 fan, no way will I miss a race for a meet,:thumbup:

I also rarely have 2 days off together so work next day is always, it works for the midlands meet, good turnout on a Tuesday evening , we could have it at seven

Sounds like a great idea  and Sunday's are good cos I get the full day off!

I'm with Alan. I'll be either helping with or going to a fair few rallyx/rallies/race meetings during day on several Sundays.

could the meets be on a saturday night or does it have to be sunday

sat will be better for me too

I will definately make the next one.

im game for any :)

The date makes no odds for me as I work shifts, but if I'm off I will make the effort to get to them.

Any signs of a meet happening??

same for me i too work stupid continental shifts :( but if ime off i will come with the "burster" so watch your sandwiches and dinner :D
