I still don't understand how an LSD will "make the coilovers much much better". But then I'm not sure you understand what an LSD or coilovers are tbh

Matt

Finished? :D

I receive the following message when I post:

"This post will need approval from a moderator before this post is shown. This restriction is lifted on 15 November 2011 - 19:19"

I posted updates earlier saying I've bought both coilovers (KW V3) and a LSD but they've only just been approved so now the thread is on the second page and no-one knows that I've bought them, so just bumping this so people can read the thread again with my posts now in place

There. Given Ali says they are knackard in the post above yours, how is an LSD going to help?

As mr loo says, repairs then mods, if someone had mullered brakes and wanted a map which would everyone be telling them to get. . . .

Matt

Thanks for the affirmation, though Vindy's a more acceptable nickname. ;)

What do you do for a living?

V3 and LSD. B)

He's Scottish, and recently had a rather large lottery win ;-)

Lol okies

Can a Mod please explain why my post got deleted?

I asked two questions:

. What's a jump photo?

. Is it possible to map in an crude E-Diff?

THat's hardly offensive, and it was on topic as I was asking the first question Ross!

I've never had any warnings, bans or trouble on here, yet my stuffs getting deleted? Seems rather petty.

Before any mods say "If you don't like it, leave", No, I won't. You leave, and let me be a mod.

1) A jump photo is what it sounds like - Getting 'air' while in a car... Normally off a bridge etc. (The picture was removed as it was on a public road) however, if you send Luke a message it's posted on several other sites - I'm sure he will be happy to show it to you. (I gather that you knew this anyway).

2) The mapping question I can't answer but I presume another member will for you -

3) Taking on the mods isn't going to get you very far - Your post was removed following the guidelines that you agreed to when you signed up to Briskoda.

In my line of work a "jump" photo has nothing to do with cars, that's all...............I've never seen any picures of cars being driven off bridges, I've not been online all weekend, as I've been in Edinbrugh........I'm only on TDIclub as well, and not seen anything about a car beign drvien off a bridge on there eitehr...............

I'm not taking on the mods, I signed up to a site that's run properly, actually. I'd like for that to still be teh case, but it doens't seem like that at all!

So every post that you attempt to make will need approval from a moderator before it is shown?!?! :o

I look forward to reading your delayed and possibly out of date (but yet approved) opinions in future threads then. I assume that should your future posts not pass the security checks, that we may never hear from you again....

Glad you opted for both the V3s and the LSD and can't wait to go out in the car once they are fitted B)

I think each mod should be in charge of a specific section, devonutopia should be in charge of fabia one as he's here often and knows the score and does a good job.

I really still have no idea what friggerpants said wrong?

Are you a mod...

Not yet, but I have ambition ;-)

Although driving off a bridge might remove the offender for good, since it is likely to lead to instant death, that wasn't the description given

That is jumping on, for example, a railway bridge, and lifting all four wheels off, NOT jumping off the bridge :-)

Happy to clear up that confusion

Boy this Fabia section is really going downhill!

Should have a fine handling car once those two are fitted Luke!

When you change your coilovers if your old ones are in a half decent condition then could I have first refusal? (sorry justwanted to get in early as I always miss the stuff I want lol) thanks in advance

You'll have to tell Rob shaw that, as he does say

"Normally off a bridge etc."

So I automatically assumed he was driving off a ledge or something...........As like I said, I've not seen anything about a jump/bridge photo, and I was merely asking.

dude where the hell can ya find 2k spare to splash on coilies and lsd??

Just don't take it to Awesome for fitting they wanted £1000 to put my Quaife in my Octavia. Robbing b@stards tbh.

Jabbasport were a much better option.

I have one in my Octavia (340bhp, 330lbft) and the traction after having it put in is immense. You'll love both but the diff more, for sure.

Keep an eye on my build thread for updates but yeah I decided to go for both in the end. :D

Good man.
