I know things went quiet when Smogmonster stopped coming on but someone in the NE must want to sort out a meet. I tried before to sort out a regular monthly meet but due to lack of interest gave up, surely you guys want to arrange a couple of meets ?

Same boat as you fella, have tried with very little succes. The detailling meet was a good turn out though which is confusing.... That was organised by Smoggy though.

I was thinking of enquiring about a possible RR day.

Every other area have regular monthly meets, detail n rolling road meets are usually extra's, NE do not seem interested in just having a regular monthly meet. I even asked about alternating from one end of area to other alternate months in the hope we would get more interest. BTW smoggy has no comp access at mo so he wont be on for a while.

Yes I would be up for local meet depends on dates as I have work commitments some weekends but sounds like a good idea not had meet since detailing meet

I'm interested in having one, but I'm busy this Sunday and the weekend afterwards. After that I think I'm free. I'm not sure about the Bank Holiday weekend.

im up for a meet always have been reason i havent been to so many is i work shifts , so unfortunately i cant commit till a time and date is proposed, anywhere in north east is fine by mine, (except geordie or mackum land).

If people can give days they available and dates can try sort a meet out cant please everyone so will have to go with majority thinking along the lines of stray cafe nice food and drink also plenty of space to unless anyone has preference of venue or has better idea open to offers

well if being honest can not do saturdays due to football season starting again and rather watch darlo lol sundays are my best days afternoons would be even better .

Ok, dates I can possibly make a meet, RR day, candle-lit dinner etc are going to be in October. Can do October 1st, 2nd, 9th, 29th and 30th.

Not too fussed about what happens or where it's held, but you can expect me there if it's one of the above dates.

sundays are usually good for me, not too bothered about rr days just think it would be good to get the NE members together regulary.
