Business Phone

Featured Replies

Afternoon all :)

Im looking to replace the phones i have in the office. Does anyone have any recommendations? Im looking for something that just plugs straight into the wall (not a PBX specific phone) Must have caller ID, speaker, built in answer phone with at least 30 mins recording time, several ringer options plus ringer volume control.

Cheers

Panasonic do some cordless ones at about £20 a pop that are pretty good IMHO

BT Paragon, we sell hundreds of BT phones a month with very few problems.

A lot of them go to the temporary cabins on building sites and very rarely go wrong despite the dust and mis-use by builders!

I'd say most offices these days have some sort of PBX as ISDN works out much cheaper than seperate lines.

A lot have voip these days too.

Depends on the package from your provider, ISDN is normally slightly more expensive per channel rental wise but the extra benefits of ISDN over PSTN more than makes up for the few quid extra a month.

EDIT, just clicked on you are referring to using a PBX with ISDN rather than a separate line to every desk. ;)

Do you have a telephone system than runs SLT phones, Featurelines or plain old analogue lines?

We have a broadband line that is split to give us the fone lines. We have no PBX. We only have two fone lines and a fax so no need for anything more elaborate.
